Sanded the drivers side rocker, removed the fender flare on the drivers side, and found more rust. I have no idea how this rusted out. Midway up the door frame. More pictures are in reply because moble tiger.

This was one of the bolts holding the rear flare on. It has rusted considerably, started life as 3/8 and finished a lot smaller and more round. The inside of the service cavity here this bolt is located is rusted to a scary level.

Drivers rocker. It is in much better shape than the passenger one.

Such is life with these old girls. I thought I had gotten all the rot out of mine before shipping it to paint. I was sorely mistaken, which meant it took more time and more money in paint prison than I would have liked. It's worth it in the end though!

That's pretty common. My (former) 79 Z28 had the same issue.
If that's the worst of it I'd say you're golden.

The rockers have quite a few holes, and a replacement door needs some work on the lower corners but that's about it. Not bad for a car that has over 150,000 miles on it.

Not bad at all for the mileage.
If you're interested in doing bodywork learn how to do Lead.
It's a lost art but way better than welding in a new dogleg.
